Hampshire CA Glue and Activator,
Our brand new top-notch quality Cyanoacrylate Glues and Activator Spray are the perfect accompanying products to the recently added inlay metal powders and decorative sands.
The glues are available in 50g bottles of Thin or Medium viscosities. Meanwhile, the 200ml activator spray has a handy accurate spraying nozzle and cures the glue surface instantly.
Chestnut CA Glue,
When you want to bond two surfaces together quickly and efficiently there’s nothing much that beats a cyanoacrylate superglue.
Chestnut Products’ CA Superglues come in three viscosities:

Thin – very low viscosity for capillary action when you want the glue to penetrate deep into small cracks. Can also be used to post-assembly to wick into parts.
Ideal for use when joining very close fitting parts and smooth, even surfaces. Dries in seconds. - Medium – for general purpose use, stays where you put it! Takes up to 20 seconds to dry giving you enough time to line everything up. Good for fairly smooth surfaces.

Thick – for gap filling where you want to seal a crack in your timber, mixed with sawdust if you want.
Slower drying, up to 60 seconds when applied thickly.
If you need a faster drying time use Accelerator for Superglues which can reduce the drying time to less than 2 seconds. Use the accelerator sparingly to avoid a white bloom on the surface.
A full cure – and maximum strength – requires 24 hours.
Low temperatures can reduce the cure time.
To get the longest life out of your glue, keep away from warmth – they are best stored at +5 degrees C.
A new take on our CA Superglue, this is a thick, black glue with all the same properties but ideal for use when the glue line shows. The dried glue imitates the look of a natural flaw in the timber, disguising the join so that it becomes a feature!

Chestnut De-bonder,
Accidents will happen, whether you’ve misaligned something you’ve stuck together with superglue or you’ve stuck your hand to the desk!
DeBonder will dissolve superglue to allow the bond to be broken should you need to. You can also use it to clean up uncured spills of glue and remove small areas of cured glue. Over time it will soften larger areas to make cleaning up easier.
It will debond skin but should not be used on lips or eyes.
DeBonder comes in a small glass jar which has a useful applicator in the lid.
Pearlex Mica Powders,
Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments may be used any time a metallic or pearlescent effect is desired: mix them into acrylics, oils, printing inks, encaustics, alcohol inks, epoxy, glues, casting resins, clay, varnishes…the list goes on!
Pearl Ex is a safe, inert pigment that exhibits extreme colorfastness and stability. The different particle sizes produce different effects, from a smooth pearly luster, to a highly metallic sheen. Pearl Ex creates a metallic effect without being a real metal—it will never tarnish or fade!
Safety Cloth is a thick, non-woven paper cloth. Designed to stay wet longer to assist the transfer of finishes to your chosen surface, it also tears very easily if it gets caught in revolving parts thus avoiding the danger of fingers being dragged into machinery.
The texture of Safety Cloth ensures that a thin, even coat is applied and the thickness means that it retains its strength and the same piece can be used several times with the same finish.
Safety Cloth is not a replacement for common sense and good safety practice.
Tack Cloths are coated with a special, sticky resin. The resin doesn’t transfer off the cloth but when you wipe it across a surface it picks up and dust and removes it, leaving behind a clean surface ready for finishing. This makes it ideal for use after your final sanding to make sure that all of the sawdust generated is removed and doesn’t affect your finishing.
Tack Cloths are supplied in a sealed wrapper; once opened store them in an air-tight container to prevent them from drying out.
Do not use Tack Cloth with the lathe running.
Rustins Lint-free cloths are perfect for the application of Danish oil, teak oil, furniture oil, wax polish, wood dye and French polish.
Machine washable.
