I believe this to be East Indian Satinwood, an interesting pale yellow with darker streaks, this piece is 200x200x50mm, this is new old stock, i have sanded and wetted the two main faces the edges are still waxed. There are a couple of tiny cracks on one face but dont seen to run deep see picture 5.
